Boosting Engagement with Dynamic Voice Group Call Reminders
Hey there! I've been thinking a lot about how to make our group calls a bit more exciting and engaging. You know, those times when we all get on a call, and it just doesn't quite feel as lively as we hoped?
I've noticed that a lot of it comes down to how we remind everyone about the call. If we just send a generic reminder a day or two before, people might forget or not feel as excited about it. But what if we made the reminders a bit more fun?
One idea I had was to record short, personalized voice messages. You know, like “Hey, John, don't forget, we've got that big call tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing you!” It’s simple, but it adds a personal touch that might make people feel more connected to the call.
Another thing we could do is to make use of chat apps. Instead of just sending a text reminder, why not share a funny meme or a quick joke related to the topic of the call? It can lighten the mood and get people excited.
It's also about timing. A reminder sent too early might get lost in the shuffle, but a reminder sent too late could cause someone to panic. Finding that sweet spot in the middle - maybe a week out for a general reminder and then a final reminder the day before - could help.
I’ve also thought about adding a small quiz or question in the reminder. Something that relates to the topic or even just a fun question to get people thinking. It could be as simple as asking, “What’s your favorite book?” or “If you could visit any place, where would you go?”
Lastly, it’s about being flexible. We might not always know what will work best until we try it out. So, it’s important to be open to feedback and willing to adjust.
What do you think? Have any of these ideas worked for your group calls, or do you have any other suggestions to get everyone more engaged?
😊 I’d love to hear your thoughts!
